Chef Michele Brinke

Michele started her culinary career in 1984 at the age of 23. Her first restaurant job was at the Phoenix Hill Tavern under the direction of German Chef Ralph Katimeir. At that time Phoenix Hill was offering upscale dining under the stars in the new roof garden. From there Michele went to work at the Parisian Pantry as the chef and kitchen manager for the next six years. After working at several more local spots including the Terrace Restaurant and The Rib Cafe, Michele started?Creative Cuisine?Personal Chef/Catering in 1994, which quickly grew into first a cafe and then a 100 seat restaurant called the Chef's Table in Old Louisville.


In 2009 Chef Michele joined the team at Olivia's on Goss as Head Chef & Kitchen Manager. Michele acquired ownership of Olivia's in April 2010 and so hence the name.
Michele has also shared her culinary talents at classes and events, as well as in magazines, newspapers and on television:
